the product of 6 and nine times a number is the same as the difference of ten times the number and 2. what is the number?

let the number be x
nine times a number =9x
product of 6 and nine times a number = 6*9x
same as means =
difference of ten times the number and 2 =10(2-x)
so the equation is
6*9x =10(2-x)
54x =20-10x
54x+10x=20
64x=20
x=20/64
=5/16
the number is 5/16
Proof:
6*9x =10(2-x)
ansd x=5/16
6*9*5/16 =10(2-5/16)
270/16 =10[32-5)/16]
270/16=10*27/16
270/16=270/16
