Solve by graphing.
3x+2y=8
6x+4y=16
Here is what I came up with, but even if this is right...I do not know how to graph it. y=-1x+8 and 4y=-6x+16 ???

The nice thing about this problem is it tells you not to solve it by math but only by graphing. So you should not try to solve it by adding or subtracting the equations but just by plotting numbers on the graph paper.
Do each equation separately so that you don't mix up the x's and the y's
take the first equation and plug in 0 for x and solve for y
then plug in 0 for y and solve for x
now plot those and connect the two dots.
then do the same for the other equation
Now either the lines cross or they don't.
If they don't then you just say no solution.
if they cross then mark down the x and the y of where they cross.
None of this is extremely hard to do but it takes time to do it.
Solve by graphing is often the easiest way but the least accurate if they aren't right on whole numbers.
I just took another look at the equations and they do not cross but are the same line!
One equation is multiple of the other.
So instead of no solution there is an infinite number of solutions.
If you multiply the first by 2 you get the second
What dirty trick!
