What does i^7 equal?
It means i raised to the 7 power.
i is the sqrt of minus 1
so i^2=-1
so if you square -1 [ (-1)^2 }you get plus one
minus times a minus is a plus
that is i^4
but i^2=-1
we are at i^6 { i^4*i^2}
so now we have -1 again
but we multiply by i again (i^7) and we have -i
