Question 240798: my question is what is the square root of -12 divided by the square root of -3? im in pre calc and it has been a long time since i had to do this so if you could also provide a good explanation of complex numbers that would be great my teacher gave me notes but she didnt give any explanation because she wasnt there so they dont make any sense to me

=sqrt(4*-3)/sqrt(-3)
=2sqrt(-3)/sqrt(-3)
=2
