So you want to solve the system;
I'll show you an easy way called the substitution method....
In the first equation, solve for y.
Now, plug that into the second equation (now that you know what y equals);
Solve that equation for x;
Now, plug that x back into the first, equation that we solved for y in.
So the solution to the system is;
(x,y) = (2,-3)
*** that is where the two lines intersect.
