Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(y-4)squared=2y
---
(y-4)^2 = 2y
y^2 - 8y + 16 = 2y
y^2 - 10y + 16 = 0
(y-2)(y-8) = 0
y = 2 or y = 8
