Question 1208475: if g '(x) = sec (t), then (d (g (x)))/(dt) = ....., [ g (x) , g ^2(x) sin (t) , g (x) sec (t), g (x) (sec (t))^2]
Answer by ikleyn(52784)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
if g '(x) = sec (t), then (d (g (x)))/(dt) = .....,
[ g (x) , g ^2(x) sin (t) , g (x) sec (t), g (x) (sec (t))^2]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Formally, x and t are independent variables. As written, g is a function of x, but is not a function of t.
Therefore, the meaning of  (d (g (x)))/(dt)  is not defined.
If you mean something else, then this "else" should be written in the post
in an explicit, clear and proper form.
