You did the first two steps right but when you got down to .2x-1=x%2B5 you should have subtracted the .2x from the 1x. Then you would have gotten -1=.8x%2B5. Next you would have subtracted 5 from both sides leaving you with -6=.8x Then you would have divided both sides by .8 Giving you and answer of x=-7.5
.2%28x-5%29=x%2B5
.2x-1=x%2B5
-1=.8x%2B5
-6=.8x
x=-7.5
