Question 182202: Hi my name is jason and i dont have problems out of a text book but in a packet that my teacher had given me on Friday. Im on a section that has to deal with absolute value signs.
/3z/+7=10
(Solving for z)
I have no clue how to do that why i have been thinking is i take 7 and subtract it from the ten since its positive (our teacher has taught us that what ever you do to one side you must do to the other) so that gives me:
/3z/=3
so do i just divide 3 from both sides to get:
z=1
