(x-4)/3<2 and (x-4)/3>-2
Solving for the first case we get
(x-4)<6
x<10
for the second case
(x-4)>-6
x>-2
so x>-2 and x<10 implies that the sample space would contain the values
{-1,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9}
