Easier to first divide both sides by 5, so that you have |-p|>4. You may then make a picture using a number line to visualize the solution for p.
If -p is positive, then |-p|=-p. Think about that and be sure it makes sense to you before continuing...

If -p is NEGATIVE, then |-p|=p.
