Answer by Gen(11) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-5(3x-7)=2(x + 9)+ 45
First you want to distribute the -5 and 2 into the parenthesis
3x-15x+35=2x+18+45
combine like terms
-12x+35=2x+63
Subtract 2x from both sides
-14x+35=63
Subtract 35 from both sides
-14x=28
divide both sides by -14
x=-2
Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3X-5(3X-7)=2(X+9)+45
3X-15X+35=2X+18+45
-12X-2X=18+45-35
-14X=28
X=28/-14
X=-2
PROOF
3(-2)-5(3[-2]-7)=2(-2+9)+45
-6-5(-6-7)=2*7+45
-6-5(-13=14+45
-6+65=59
59=59
