--> look at the first 2 terms and then seperately at the last 2 terms and we can write it as:
x(x+1)-y(x+1)
We still have 2 terms, now seperated by the - sign, so we can look at these 2 terms and see what is still common, to pull that out. Common term is (x+1), so we can now write it as:
(x+1)(x-y)
and this is your answer, now factorised :-)
