Question 627943: What are the solution intervals for |x – 4| – 2 > 7?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hint:

|x – 4| – 2 > 7

|x – 4| > 7+2

|x – 4| > 9

x - 4 > 9 or x - 4 < -9

To find your answers, solve the inequalities x - 4 > 9 and x - 4 < -9.

I'll let you do this.
