Question 60061: Sketch the graph y=|x+4|
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=|x+4|
Find the zero point:
x+4=0
x=-4
Plot that point.
Let x=-5 or-3, then y=1
Let x=-6 or -2, then y=2
Let x=-7 or -1, then y=3
etc.
Plot all those points; you will see a v-shaped
graph that bottoms out at (-4,0)

Stan H.
