2%2Fabs%28x%2B3%29+%3C+1 Multiply both sides by abs%28x%2B3%29
2+%3C+abs%28x%2B3%29 Remove the absolute-value bars.
x%2B3+%3E+2 or x%2B3+%3C+-2 Subtract 3 from both sides in each solution.
x+%3E+-1 or x++%3C+-5
