Question 586754: abs(x-4)-10=1 help?
Answer by htmentor(1343)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
abs(x-4) - 10 = 1
abs(x-4) = 11
This has two solutions. One for x-4 = 11 and one for x-4 = -11
x-4 = 11 -> x = 15
x-4 = -11 -> x = -7
