Question 58663: M+2n=p; SOLVE FOR N
Answer by rcmcc(152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
M+2n=p
because there are all variables in the equation to solve means simply to simplify the equation so that n is isolated
M+2n=p
first subtract m from both sides
2n=p-m
now divide both sides by 2 to isolate n
n=(p/2)-(m/2)
you have solved for n.
