Question 56825: Hello,
I am just starting pre-algebra this year and have done very well until now. We are working on variable expressions. Can you please help me solve this problem and explain to me how you got the answer in detail. Thank you H.
#1. -2(-5)q + (-72)(-q)
This problem is from a worksheet at school. I did the problem as follows
-2x-5= 10q + -2 x -72 = 144 which equals 10q + 144 +2

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2(-5)q + (-72)(-q)
=10q+72q
=82q
Cheers,
Stan H.
