Question 483128: Having trouble with
I have a problem with understanding the consecutive integers in word problems. My problem to solve is "Find three consecutive odd integers whose sum is 183.
I tried x, x+1,x+3.
But I do not think that is correct...
I've solved it several times but when I go back to check the answer doesn't even out.

4|6x-1|=29
------------
|6x-1| = 29/4
-----
Either
6x-1 = 29/4
6x = 33/4
x = 11/8
--------
or
-(6x-1) = 29/4
6x-1 = -29/4
6x = -25/4
x = -25/24
