YES THE PROOF IS YOU FACTOR THE TWO NUMBERS THUS 2*7 & 3*7 7 BEING COMMON TO BOTH NUMBERS YOU USE IT ONLY ONCE WHEN MULTIPLYING ALL OTHER FACTORS THUS
2*3*7=42
