Question 32534: absolute value of {x +5} - 3=11
Answer by ikdeep(226) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
{x +5} - 3 = 11
open brackets and you get
x + 5 - 3 = 11
x + 2 = 11
subtract 2 from both sides and u get
x = 9
and absolute values of 9 is also 9 therefore x = 9
Now if you want to verify you answer ,,,you can put the values of x in the equation and if you get LHS = RHS,,,this means that you answer is correct..
Hope this will help you
