|3-x|=|x/2+3|

There are two cases to consider.

Case 1. What is within the absolute value bars on the left is equal to what is
within the absolute value bars on the right.
         That is,

         3 - x = x/2 + 3

Case 2. What is within the absolute value bars on the left is equal to to the
OPPOSITE of (-1 times) what is within the absolute value bars on the
         right. That is.

         3 - x = -1(x/2 + 3)

Case 1.
         3 - x = x/2 + 3

Solve that and get x = 0. That's one solution.

Case 2.
         3 - x = -1(x/2 + 3)

Solve that and get x = 12. That's the other solution.
