Find all the real values for x so that (5-x) < 2. Write your answer in a sentence.

-------------------------------------
|5-x| < 2
Rewrite as follows:
-2 < 5-x < 2
Subtract 5 along the line to get:
-7 < -x < -3
Multiply thru by -1 to get:
3 < x < 7
