Question 15490: 3+[2x-9]-20
Answer by pwac(253)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Should this read 3+[2x-9]-20=0 ??
If so you are looking for value of x.First add up terms to give:
2x-26=0 Add 26 to both sides which gives:
2x=26 Now divide both sides by 2 to give:
x=13
If you just have to simplify 3+[2x-9]-20 add terms to gve:
2x-26 or take out factor 2 which would be:
2(x-13).
Hope this helps
