If x > 5, then all the expressions under the absolute value operator
are positive.  


    if x > 5,  then  y=|x-3|+|x+2|-|x-5| = (x-3) + (x+2) - (x-5) = (x+x-x) + (-3+2+5) = x + 4.    ANSWER
