Question 112731: I would like your help with the following question in year 7 maths:-
A girl is 11 years old now, how old will she be in d years? the question also had a first part which was: how old will she be in 5 years. I am not sure if that is related to the 2nd part of the question. We have only just begun algebra and I don't yet fully understand it. I would appreciate your help with the 2nd part of the question as I have done the first part.

If a girl is 11 years old, in d years she will be 11+d years old.
In five years, the girl will be 11+5= 16 years old
