First you have to group:
The coefficient of y^2 is 25 and the coefficient of x^2 is 4.
25*4 = 100. And the factors of 100 that when added sum 25 are 5 and 20:
25y^2+25xy+4x^2 = 25y^2+20xy+5xy+4x^2 =
= 4x(x+5y)+5y(x+5y)now in this equation factor the common terms:
factor x+5y from 4x(x+5y)+5y(x+5y) and you get your answer:
(x+5y)(4x+5y)
