Question 184223: If you cut a 1-inch square out of each corner of an 8.5-by-11-inch piece of paper and forld it into a box without a lid, what is the volume of the container?
My Work: Since it is a 1 inch square I subtracted 2 inches from each side which would leave me with 6.5 and 9 inches and then I multiplied those together and got 58.5 and I need the top number of the cube to multiply 58.5 by but Im not sure what it would be, I think it is 6.5 which would make the answer V=380.25cm3

I missed this question. I used V= 1/3bh and A=1/2bh and I dont know where I messed up at.
