Question 109069: I can't figure this one. Google brought me to your site but I still can not find it in this site. Can you please help me solve this problem:
The volume of a box is (x^2+5x+6)(x+5), find the polynomial that represents the bottom of the box. Then it shows the box with x+2 next to it.If anyone could help me wiht this it would be greatly appreciated.

Question 113278: I am not certain if this is a volume problem but I would really appreciate some help.
A rectangular solid has a base with length of 6cm and width of 5 cm. If the volume of the solid is 300 cm to the third, I need to find the height of the solid.
Is it 9cm?
10cm
11 cm or
12 cm.
How do I go about solving this problem. I know that the volume of a retangular solid is V=LWH

The inside of an aircraft is a square based prism and will be built usin 4 m (squared) of of aluminum. Th plane or cockpit needs a floor, ceiling and three walls. What demensions will maximize the volume of the cockpit. Round out the deminsions to the nearest meter.
