Question 95769: I tore out a pool and need to fill it with dirt. The remaining hole is 332" in diameter and 17" deep at the deepest point. The hole is basically spherical in shape. Question 97951: I have worked/reworked this too many times. This one is stumping me.
A cylinder with radius 3in and height 4in has its radius tripled. How many times greater is the volume of the larger cylinder than the smaller cylinder?
Here's my solution to the V smaller:
V=pi r(cubed)h
V=pi * 3(cubed)*4
V=pi *27 *4
V= 108 pi
would you show me the steps on how to get this one solved, ty.
