Question 999344: What is the height,correct to the nearestcm,of a 20 litre cylindrical oil container with a radius of 25 cm?

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
volume pi*r^2*h
20 liters=pi*625cm^2*h
units are liters on left, cm^2*cm on right or cm^3.
20 liters is 20,000 cm^3
Therefore,
20000=pi*625*h=1963.495 cm^2*h
divide by 1963.495=10.186 cm, height.
