What is the volumetric percent increase when a sphere's radius is increased from 2 ft to 2.5 ft?
--------------
Volume varies with the cube of the radius.
IOW, Vol = k*r^3 (k is some constant)
---
Vol(2) = 8k
Vol(2.5) = 15.625k
-------
Increase = 7.625k
7.625k/8k = 0.953125
= 95.3125% increase
