If you have a bowl that is 2.4 in diameter and 1.4 in height what would be the volume or how would you get it?
--------------
It depends on the shape.
It might be a part of a sphere, or parabolic, or something else.
-------------
Using the formula for a sphere, it's close to 1/2 of a sphere.
r = 1.2
Vol =~ 3.62 cubic inches
-------
If it's a practical matter, and not just a math problem, I would fill it with water and the measure the volume with a measuring device, or weigh the water.
1 gram of water = 1 milliliter
