Assuming it's "rectangular" (a cuboid),
Vol = L*W*H

height = 3 m
width = 2 m
volume = 12 m^3
volume = length *width*height
12 = length*2*3
12 = length*6
divide with 6 on both sides

2=length
length = 2 m
