A cylindrical water tank of height 4m is used to fill containers with dimensions 20cm by 30cm by 50 cm with water. If the tank can fill exactly 200 of these containers, find the base radius of the water tank.
***
volume of water tank=area of base*height=π*radius^2*h
radius^2=volume/4π
base radius of tank =√(volume/4π)
..
volume of one container=20*30*50=30000 cm^3
for 200 containers: volume=200*30000=6,000,000 cm^3
conversion:10^6 cm^3= m^3
volume=6m^3
..
volume of water tank=6m^3
base radius of tank=√(6/4π)=2.17m
