One can think of the cross section of the pool as
a rectangle 1m by 30m over a triangle that is
30m across the top with a depth at one end of 2m.
So the cross sectional area is
(1 * 30) + 1/2(2 * 30) = 2 * 30 = 60
Now if we multiply 60 x 10 we will find we have
