Hi,
The volume of a square based pyramid is 250cm3.
If the height is 10cm, what are the dimensions of the base?

area of the base = (3/10)(250cm^3) = 75cm^2
square based pyramid: s^2 = 75cm^2,
s = sqrt(75cm^2) = 5sqrt(3)cm \Using positive root for unit measure
dimensions are: 5sqrt(3)cm by 5sqrt(3)cm
