Question 821214: A cuboid has a volume of 2430cm3, it's height is 10cm and the width is 1/3 of the length of the cuboid. Find out the length of the cuboid.

The formula for the volume of a cuboid is lbh(length*breadth*height)
From the given, lbh=2430, h=10cm, l=l and b=1/3l
Thus, l* 1/3l*10=2430, l*l/3=243, l^2/3=243,
L^2=243*3, L^2=729, L=_/729= 27centimetres
Thus , the length of the cuboid is 27cm.
