Question 801705: A cylindrical tank of diameter 35 cm is full of water. If 11 litres of water is drawn off, the water level in the tank will drop by?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume = Pi * r^2 * height
11 litres = 11,000 cm^3
11,000 = Pi * 17.5^2 * height
Height = 11,000/Pi* 17.5^2
Height = 11.4 cm
This is the amount that
the water level will
drop by.
Hope this helps.
