Question 773214: if the diameter of the tank is 12 meters and the volume is 1130.4 m3 ,what is the height of the tank?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume of a tank = Pi * r^2 * h
Diameter = 12m, radius = 6m
1130.4m^3 = Pi * 6^2 * h
1130.4m^3/Pi * 36 = h
h = 9.99m
Height = 10 metres.
Hope this helps.
