Question 769248: a bucket is 16cm in diameter at the top and 8cm at the bottom. if the bucket is 6cm deep, calculate its volume

Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Using a formula for the volume
of a frustum:
Volume = Pi*h/3 (R^2 + Rr + r^2)
R = 8cm, r = 4cm and h = 6cm
Pi * 6/3 (8^2 + 8*4 + 4^2)
= 703.7cm^3.
Hope this helps.
