Question 767936: a 5 cubic meter cylindrical water tank is to be constructed. if it has a diameter of 1.5 meter, how tall must the tank be?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Volume of cylinder = Pi*r^2*h
Diameter = 1.5m so, Radius = 0.75m
5 = Pi*0.75^2*h
h = 5/(Pi*0.75^2)
Height = 2.8 metres
Hope this helps.
