Question 761977: find the volume of a cuboid in each of the following cases
A) the area of the base is 40cm and the height is 4cm
b) the base has one side 10cm and the other side 2cm longer, and the height is 4cm
c)the area of the top is 25cm and the depth is 6cm

Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a) Area = 40cm^2 Height = 4cm
Volume = base area * height
= 40 * 4
= 160cm^3
b) 10cm * 12cm * 4cm = 480cm^3
c)Area of top = 25cm^2 Depth = 6cm
Volume = top area * depth
= 25cm^2 * 6cm
= 150cm^3
Hope this helps.
