Question 752900: HOW MANY CUBES OF SIDE 3CM CAN BE PACKED INTO A BOX WITH INTERNAL DIMENTION 18CM LONG,10CM WIDE AND 15CM HIGH.
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The volume of your cube = 3^3 = 27 cm^3
The volume of your box = 18 cm x
10 cm x 15 cm = 2700 cm^3
Divide 27 cm^3 into 2700 cm^3
= 100.
So you can pack 100 cubes in the box.
Hope this helps.
