Question 731196: if a bike tire is 26in how far would it travel in one revolution?
Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is the diameter 26 inches or the radius 26 inches?

In one revolution the bike tire travels a distance equal to its circumference.

C=pi*d = 2*pi*r

Assuming 26 is the diameter, the circumference is pi*26 = approximately 81.68 inches.
