water flows through a circular pipe of diameter 2cm at 7m/sec into a cylindrical vessel of base radius 40cm. by how much the level of water in it rise in 30 min?
the volume flowing in 1 sec is its volume
pi*r^2h
r=1cm
h=700cm
V= pi*1^2*700
=22/7 *1*700
=2200 cm^3
2200cm^3 in 1 sec
in 30 * 60 = 1800 sec
2200*1800 cm^3
3960000 cm^3 in 30 min
radius = 40 cm
V= pi*r^2 *h
=22/7 * 40*40*h
3960000=(22/7) *40*40*h
h=7*3960000/40*40*22
787.5 cm in 30 minutes
