Question 725327: Please help me understand how I get the height of a rectangular prism with a volume of 200 cm. Thank you for any help
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you know the area of the base, then you can find the height.
This is because
Volume = (Area of Base)*(Height)
V = B*h
where B = area of base, h = height
-----------------------------------------
Solve for h to get
So if you know what B is, then you can plug in V = 200 and the value of B, then evaluate to get your answer.
