radius of flower bed=1/2 diameter=1/2*6=3
Area of flower bed=πr^2=9π
Radius of flower bed with one meter wide sidewalk around it=3+1=4
Area of flower bed with one meter wide sidewalk around it=πr^2=16π
Area of sidewalk=16π-9π=7π≈22 square meters
