I have two problems needing help with quickly.
A man is building a concrete patio 29 feet wide, 30 feet long, 6 inches thick. Mixed concrete is sold by the cubic yard. How many cubic yards needed for project? (must convert cubic feet into cubic yards to solve) HELP!!!
and
A cone with radius 5 inches, height 12 inches, which causes volume to increase more, increasing radius or height? Explain.

1 yard = 3 feet.
If you are using feet and yards in volume then you must convert for all three dimensions.
1 ft * 1 ft * 1 ft = 1 ft^3

1ft*((1yd/3ft))*1ft*((1yd/3ft))*1ft*((1yd/3ft))= 1 yd^3 per 3^3 ft^3,
One cubic yard is 27 cubic feet.

Patio volume: 29ft*30ft*(1/2)ft., how many cubic yards?

= the cubic yards of mixed concrete
